My
responsibilities at Lease Finance Group include new business
generation from both lessees as well as vendors. My specialty
is
structuring financing that will be acceptable
to the lessee as well as the lease investor. My
structuring background includes 30 years of lease marketing and
management with the two largest lessors in the U.S.
Lease Finance Group’s value proposition in the equipment
financing marketplace arises from its local on-site ownership,
knowledge of its served communities and philosophy of bringing
competitive lease pricing to the leasing middle market. Our
goal is to structure a lease that will be attractive to the
lessee and also be acceptable to the lease investor. Our diversity
of products from tax leases with fair market value purchase
options to nominal purchase option leases serves us well in
the leasing middle market. |

Business Experience/Background
I joined Lease Finance Group in 2002. My prior leasing experience includes
eleven years at Copelco/CitiCapital and seventeen years at ELLCO/GE
Capital. I worked as a direct marketer and a regional marketing
manager for both
companies. After a series of market and
management changes at both companies, I have determined that middle-market
general
equipment leasing is an exciting market space in the current economy.
Personal
As a native Minnesotan, I am originally from St. Paul. I lived most
of my adult life in Edina. I completed my undergraduate studies
with a degree in Economics from the Wharton School at the University
of Pennsylvania in 1969. I live with my spouse Sarah and two active
middle school sons in Edina. Our oldest son, Adam, is a
computer expert. Our youngest son, Danny, is active in juggling and
golf. I enjoy family
activities, reading and traveling.
